Recovered study chair

I ended up just tucking the fabric into the sides of the chair... It sits quite nice and snug, so hopefully it will stay...

New blind

I have this fabric:




And this window:




And need to put the two together to make a roman blind for the study...

There is this guide from instructables and this one from diy which I plan on following...

chaucer on my door

We moved into our house eight months ago. Eight! I still can't believe it. After re-doing the kitchen our progress has slowed down, so I thought I'd start this blog to track the process, write about my influences and inspiration, and hopefully end up with some great renovations!

The door has a little Chaucer knocker - I studied 'Pardoners Tale' in high school - although I hated it with a passion - it was a little sign that we had made the correct decision and this was the right house for us!
